Incredible flamenco dress handmade in the late 70s/early 80s, in a red luminescent fabric with a hint of blue depending on the light. It is fitted through the body and has a dramatic mermaid skirt which makes it ideal for dancing, a beaded and sequined purple applique on the body, and huge statement ruffle sleeves. There is a zipper up the back for closure, and a large keyhole at the upper back that secures with a tie.

Condition: Very good handmade condition, with a 1/2” faint brown spot on the front of the right armhole, a couple extremely faint dark marks below the sequin applique, a few scattered faint discolorations on the back of the body and along the back hem, and some sections of minor seam pulling on some of the bodice seams exposing the blue back of the fabric.
